I
grew up on a farm and was schooled in a small town.
After high school. I went to butler university and majored
in botany. My love for science has always persisted
and my first teaching job was teaching general science
to eight graders in a rural community. I continued to
get more science education from Notre Dame on a NSF
grant in earth/space science. I am presently teaching
earth/space science and directing Wayne High School's
planetarium. I am married, and I have two children and
one grandchild.
