Andy has been a NASA volunter since 1997 and a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador for the past seven years. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked as a Medical Imaging Engineer for 37 years. Andy is NASA Lunar Rock Kit Demonstration Certified, a Science Reporter for WPKN Radio (WPKN.org), and a member of The Astronomical Society of New Haven. He is presently working on a 15 1/2\" Dobsonian public outreach telescope, and public outreach Astronomy and Space Exploration Radio/Podcast shows. In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, educating the public in science and astronomy, and designing and building telescopes.
