Angel D. Sanabria recently retired from 28 years as a teacher of Aerospace Education at Blanca Malaret High School in Sabana Grande, PR. Space related subjects and computers are his favorite subjects and the study of astrobiology tops all. Angel was part of a group of teachers that participated in NASA Educational workshops at Stennis Space center. That experience inspired him to learn more about space exploration and to share that knowledge with others. Werner Von Braun, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking are the personalities that have impacted his personal and teaching philosophy the most. In his spare time, Angel collects rocks and enjoys practicing basketball with his three daughters. His favorite writer is Carl Sagan. As Angel says, "Science is a candle in the dark and teachers spark that flame."
