Biswas Sharma graduated from high school at St. Xavier's College, Kathmandu, Nepal. As the president of his school's astronautics club, Frontier De Astronautica, he gave presentations on space missions, the basics of terrestrial and space flights, and space vehicles. He is also the Student Liaison of national astronomical society, Astronepal. He helped organize International Year of Astronomy 2009 programs in Nepal on behalf of the International Astronomical Union as a member of Astronepal. This included a public annular solar eclipse observation program, Galilean Nights Jupiter observation program, space photography exhibits and astronomy discussion programs. He also trained middle school teachers and students to use telescopes to make accurate stellar observations.
Biswas is currently an Astrophysics major and a member of the Space Science Club at Morehead State University, Kentucky. He is excited about sharing his knowledge of astronomy with people from his community, and hopefully inspire students to take astronomy related majors.
