Bruce
Card is very active in his local Astronomy Club, the
Aldrich Astronomical Society and participates in many
free public outreach events sharing the wonders of space
and the night sky. As an ongoing mission of the Aldrich
Outreach Program he encourages and supports presentations
to schools, libraries, Scout troops and more. Public
sky-watch programs hosted by the Aldrich Society are
a great tool to introduce the public to the space sciences.
Bruce also is an avid enthusiast in space exploration.
He strongly believes in the importance and relevance
of NASA/JPL space projects. From the first days of Mercury
through Gemini, Apollo to today's International Space
Station, man's exploration of space either robotically
or by manned missions fulfills mans desire to explore.
As a Solar Ambassador Bruce hopes to share all these
wonders with the public.
