Bruce Irving is an optical engineer with a lifelong interest in space and aviation. He has a B.S. in physics from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.S. in optics from the University of Rochester and has worked for over twenty-five years for an engineering software company, most recently as international distribution manager. In recent years, Bruce has developed, distributed over the web, and occasionally presented various space-related educational outreach materials. He is also a private pilot and a singer/songwriter.
