Carlos Hurtado was born in Mexico and immigrated to San Jose, California when he was 3 years old. He attended Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, graduating with a degree in Aerospace Engineering in June 2007. Currently Carlos works for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Sunnyvale as a propulsion engineer for a missile defense system. He enjoys sports, hiking, rollerblading and spending time with family.
