Beginning with the 2010 school year Carol Lutsinger will be leading a computer based science lab at Benavides Elementary School in Brownsville. She will also serve as contact for the World Space Week events as a volunteer. Carol writes an astronomy column for the local newspaper, The Brownsville Herald. Her family is grown and part of the fun of that is grandchildren to share the stars with and all the excitement that NASA brings to us Earth bound travelers.
Sharing the night sky with grocery shoppers and library visitors, as well as neighbors out walking dogs is also fun for Carol. She loves being part of the Solar System Ambassadors program and hopes to continue for at least a light year.
