Being inspired to pursue a life in science by a high school teacher ten years ago has led me along a very interesting path. Starting in college I picked Physics as the degree I wanted, but finding the mathematics involved in physics research a little too tricky I re-thought my life's plan. Currently I am a student in the Geology department at the University of North Dakota with a minor in Space Studies. I work with the public at Dakota Science Center, a hands-on museum that believes science is for everyone. Over the past three years I developed on-line materials for Dakota Skies, a module on astronomy found on http://www.natureshift.org which was through a five-year DOE TIGG grant. I like astronomy and own a number of telescopes and belong to numerous societies dedicated to promoting space and astronomy events.
