 Cindy Sarmiento is an Information Technology Senior Manager at Lockheed Martin Space Systems in Denver, Colorado. She has forty years of experience in Software Engineering including commercial & aerospace applications as well as internal research and development projects. She has been with Lockheed Martin in various capacities since 1996.
Cindy's pre-Lockheed Martin experience includes eleven years as a faculty member at the University of South Florida College of Engineering in Tampa, Florida. While there she taught various Software Engineering courses and performing research in Artificial Intelligence.
Cindy has published multiple articles about Artificial Intelligence in academic journals along with a book chapter on Expert Systems. She served as guest editor for an issue of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.
Cindy has a B.S. in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
