Cindy Sarmiento is an information technology senior manager for a major aerospace company. She has forty years of experience in software engineering including commercial and aerospace applications as well as internal research and development projects.
Cindy's prior experience includes eleven years as a faculty member at the University of South Florida College of Engineering in Tampa, Florida. While there she taught various software engineering courses and performing research in artificial intelligence. Cindy has published multiple articles about artificial intelligence in academic journals along with a book chapter on expert systems.
Cindy has a B.S. in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
