Biographical Information:


Photo of Ambassador Dino Tata Dino Tata received his degree in business administration, although his working career was as a banker, He has been fascinated with astronomy since he was a toddler, being struck by the beauty and mystery of the skies and all things concerned with space. Space travel was a particular interest to him. If fate had so decreed, Dino would have loved the opportunity to become an astronaut. His interest in astronomy also lead him to an interest in geology and archaeology. He is a member of the Aldrich Astronomical Society and enjoys the outreach opportunities that occur through that group. Dino loves to set up his scopes and guide people through the heavens. He served in the USAF from 1956 to 1960, working at various radar stations. He is married has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.
