I
was born in Hungary, and received my M.S. degree in
Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of
Budapest in 2001. Currently, I am a full-time Ph.D.
student at the Comparative Planetology Laboratory (CPL)
at the University of Louisville. My research is on numerical
modeling planetary atmospheres, in particular the atmospheric
dynamics of Jupiter.
My interest in the solar system exploration started
at an early age while watching Hungary's first and only
cosmonaut fly into space. I found it fascinating to
read books about the planets, moons, comets, and to
learn about rockets and spaceships. My outstanding science
teachers helped to shape my interest in aeronautics
and space sciences throughout the years. Later, this
interest turned into a lifelong passion and love.
I am very pleased and greatly honored to have been selected
as an Ambassador. My goal is to help share the dreams,
tools, and knowledge of space exploration with the public,
and I hope to inspire the next generation of students
with a keen interest in space science.
