Daria stumbled into a job at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory while pursuing a Master's degree in writing. In 2001, she left JPL to live in Humboldt County, where she works as a technical writer while pursuing a creative writing project and beach time with her three dogs. Although she lives far from JPL, she continues to be excited about NASA's missions and ongoing exploration of the solar system.
