Photo of Ambassador
David Abbou has been an amateur astronomer for over 30 years. The Apollo, Pioneer, and Voyager missions opened a universe of interest for him, and he continues to follow the space program with great enthusiasm. David conveys his passion for astronomy and the space program by conducting lectures and outreach events at schools and libraries in the Stafford, Virginia area. He also writes a monthly astronomy column in the Free Lance-Star newspaper which serves the Fredericksburg, Virginia area.
