Takemoto-Weerts is a bicycle planner and advocate at the University
of California in Davis, "the Bicycle Capital of the U.S.".
His enthusiasm for bicycles, however, is more than matched
by his passion for space exploration. He is an amateur astronomer,
an avid sci-fi reader, an eager student of aerospace history,
and a very active model rocketeer. He especially enjoys sharing
his zeal for all things space related with others.
