Eight years ago Dean Regas was suddenly and permanently converted from a normal person into an astronomy nut. His educational background is in History and Secondary education. But the road ahead turned toward a different path. He began working at the Wolff Planetarium, a small 20 seater with a Spitz A-1 projector. He is now an expert in observational astronomy with regular features in the Cincinnati Enquirer and Community Press. Since 2000 he has been the Outreach Astronomer for the Cincinnati Observatory where he presents programs at the observatory and in local classrooms.
