Deron
Ash has been a long time proponent space education and
space exploration. This includes starting and maintaining
a monthly astronomy series at the local nature center
as well as regularly lecturing on astronomical topics
through local library programs, after-school science
programs and adult continuing education courses. His
lectures focus on navigating the night sky, the history
of astronomical observation and the sky myths and legends
of ancient cultures. When not out teaching families
about the wonders of the night sky, you can find Deron
on the hiking trails or working with local conservation
efforts. A graduate of Dartmouth College, he is currently
pursuing his Masters degree in Space Studies.
