Eileen Bross Grzybowski first reached for the stars while growing up in NYC and enjoyed the various courses in Astronomy for Young people offered through the American Museum Hayden Planetarium. She earned a BS in Biology from St. Bonaventure University in 1973, an MS in Botany from Ohio University in 1975, and is ABD in Science Education from the University of Oklahoma. Eileen has taught in the Norman Public Schools since 1975 (with twelve years off for parenting and volunteer teaching). She currently teaches Pre-AP Biology and Astronomy at Norman North High School and sponsors various clubs including the Astronomy Club. Eileen's classes use parts of the Voyages Through Time Curriculum and collaborate with the Goldstone Apple Valley Radio Telescope project to study Jupiter and Quasars. She is a wife and mother to three boys and enjoys Scouting and observing and Outreach activities with the OKC Astronomy Club. Eileen is an avid reader, cross stitcher, and enjoys camping and the out-of-doors. She prides herself in being a lifelong learner.
