I have been in the planetarium at Shaker High School since 1989. I started teaching in the elementary grades in 1972. This early experience has helped me to teach to students of all ages as well as adults. I enjoy making telescopes and using them to host star parties. I initially entered Case Western Reserve University with the purpose of becoming a research astronomer. I discovered teaching and went into that area. When the Shaker Planetarium director died, I was chosen for the job because of my ability to talk to a variety of age levels. I have enjoyed teaching a subject I love to investigate.
