Gilberto
Monarez, a Business Computer Teacher at Austin High
and also Aerospace Educator because he is a NASA/JPL
Solar System Ambassador. He loves to teach about computers,
virtual reality, robotics, simulations, multimedia and
hyperspace.
He
was working on a Ph.D. in Hyperspace at UT El Paso.
This was a program he trying to follow and graduate
from. Presently, He is trying to work for Ames Research
Center or JPL. He has been a teacher for at 21 years.
He taught Graduate School, Private Business College,
Middle and High School, GED, NovaNet, Private Industry
Council, Universidad de Mexico, Dona Ana Community College
and El Paso Community College. He likes working on robots,
biology, global management and flight. He has attended
University of Maryland, Texas A&M, University of
Florida, Tufts University, Colorado Spring University,
U.S. Marines School Batallion, Stanford, University
of Idaho and University of Texas at El Paso.
Presently,
Mr. Monarez working on getting the Civil Patrol Aerospace
Excellence Award with my Austin High Students. Mr. Monarez
is an Intel Master Teacher and Aerospace Educator. He
is a Educational Volunteer for the El Paso Zoo. He is
getting Visual Basic classes at the El Paso Community
College to create students design their own science
programs with interactive buttons and links. He was
done Career Shadowing in the University of Texas at
El Paso Engineering Dept. He is an Ames Research Center
Graduate (Stanford) and a Teacher Research Update Experience
teacher (T.R.U.E.) from the University of Florida. He
did graduate research Solar System at Tufts University
in Boston. His students and Mr. Monarez also help NASA
Wheeling Jesuit with their Astronomy Village Pilot CD.
