Photo of AmbassadorA life long observer of the sky and space enthusiast, Gordon Houston is enrolled in a Masters of Astronomy at Swinburne University. He has earned the designation of "Master Observer" through the Astronomical League, which requires completion of 10 observing programs. Gordon is a member of the Houston Astronomical Society, The Association for Lunar and Planetary Observers, and a George Observatory volunteer. His enthusiasm for astronomy and space is contagious and is passed on to those who attend his presentations. Gordon owns an astronomy shop, where he teaches a basic observational astronomy course.
