Jason Rhian is a former soldier and law enforcement officer. He is chapter president for the National Space Society's Tampa chapter. During the summer of 2007 he was a NASA intern at the Kennedy Space Center. He is currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. He hopes to use skills learned in college to educate the public about the importance of the space program.
Mr. Rhian attended the International Space Development Conference, (ISDC) in 2005 and he is currently working on co-hosting the 2009 ISDC in Orlando. Mr. Rhian has been active in space advocacy since the loss of the space shuttle Columbia in 2003. He was inspired by the sacrifice of the shuttle's crew to dedicate his time and resources to the goal of space exploration.
