Jayma Koval is currently an eighth grade science teacher in metro Atlanta. While teaching for the past eight years, she has been privileged to be a part of many professional development opportunities through NASA and local universities that have benefited her students in immeasurable ways. Most recently she has attended the GRAIL launch and is looking forward to future opportunities and the GRAIL MoonKam.
She is originally from Long Island, New York and grew up fascinated with the weather and looking to Sally Ride as a role model. She holds a B.S. in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University, a M.S. in Earth Science Adolescent Education from Long Island University and an Ed.S. in Science, Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University.
She looks forward to sharing her love of space exploration with her community.
