Jennifer Ayala can't remember a time in her life when she wasn't fascinated by space. She remembers staring at the TV, waiting for that first flight of Space Shuttle Columbia to launch and watching Halley's comet from the top of a slide at school. It was all mesmerizing. In high school she participated in simulated moon walks and begged her parents to send her to space camp.
Now as an adult, she is still fascinated with space. After working for many years as a meteorologist and a science librarian her next goal is to teach the next generation to be just as fascinated by space and earth sciences as she was as a child.
