Biographical Information:


Photo of Ambassador Jim Head Jim Head has been active in Astronomy Outreach since 2004, and coordinates many astronomy nights, classroom presentations, and activities for K-12 children. Many activities include exciting demonstrations and lessons about JPL's missions in space, which have a long history of surprising us with fascinating discoveries in our Solar System and beyond. He also incorporates scientist-tested activities from the NASA Night Sky Network program and Project Astro from the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. Astronomy nights and starparties are organized through the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society, an astronomy club in Contra Costa County, California.
