I work at Johnson Space Center as a scientist involved with the astronauts that go on extravehicular activities (spacewalks) and help in the development of new space suit designs and exploration habitats. Jim Wessel is a core member of the Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society. He serves as a novice presenter for the club, as well as the Night Sky Network coordinator. He is an active amateur astronomer who likes to attend and host star parties. Jim has been interested in space and space exploration for over 30 years.
