John Adams Hodge has had a lifelong interest in astronomy and planetary science. He is a geologist, airline pilot, environmental and aviation lawyer, and part-time professor who resides in Columbia, SC. John is also a partner in an astronomical observatory near Bethune, SC where he enjoys deep sky and planetary imaging. He has extensive experience as a speaker and enjoys teaching technical topics to lay persons. He is comfortable speaking or teaching, whether it be to a graduate level class or an elementary school group.
