I
was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, where
I developed an deep appreciation for Earth's life because
of my farming and ranching experience. As time passed,
my appetite for the potential of extraterrestrial life
grew. Incorporating the themes of astrobiology while
teaching my high school science classes became a focus,
and it has driven me to investigate this fascinating
interdisciplinary field in my current graduate studies.
