Krissie Cook's passion for astronomy began in high school, when she joined a program for high school students at her local science center. After one summer of training to be an interpreter in the space hall, she realized she would be happy to spend the rest of her life talking to people about astronomy. 13 years later, she found herself directing all astronomy programs at that same science center, and was still happy talking to people about astronomy every day. She recently relocated to South Florida, where she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for astronomy with her new community. She is also the proud purveyor of an astronomical blog, The Stay-At-Home Momstronomer.
