Kyle
is a "starry eyed" idealist who wants to inspire
the next generation of explorers. He has been a bicycle mechanic,
computer technician, professional photographer, and crab fisherman.
When his son was born, Kyle realized, "Someday this kid
is gonna ask me questions about the world, and I'm not going
to know the answers. I better get busy!" Since "getting
busy", he has taught environmental education at Woodland
Park Zoo, Kelsey Creek Park, Discovery Nature Center and has
worked for science literacy at the Pacific Science Center.
He developed the educational outreach materials for the NOVA:Origins
television series on PBS. (These are available for free download
at pacsci.org/origins). He hopes that his dedication can be
an inspiration to others to become involved in sparking the
imagination of the next generation.
