Laura
was born at Westover AFB, Massachusetts, but considers
Franklin Square, New York to be her home town. She went
to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Wake
Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina receiving
a B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology. She has worked in various
types of labs over the years, from paternity testing,
to plants, to cancer, to forensics. Last year, Laura
moved to Washington, D.C. and is employed with Wyle
Laboratories as a NASA contractor at the NIH/NASA Center
for Three-Dimensional Tissue Culture in Bethesda, MD.
Her desire is to be able to tie together her loves of
Anthropology and space exploration.
