I
have been a Benedictine monk in the Episcopal Church
for 43 years. Before joining The Order of The Holy Cross,
I taught science in northern Illinois. After taking
my life vows in the Order, I spent some 20 years teaching
science and math in Liberia, Ghana, and the Bahamas.
At the present time I am a Brother at Mt. Calvary Retreat
House in Santa Barbara, CA where I confer with retreats
and when the weather permits I get out my 8 inch Celestron
and people the wonders of the night sky. There is not
a greater sight than to see the eyes of a child (or
an adult) when they see the rings of Saturn for the
first time and exclaim,"Wow". I look forward to manifesting
the wonders of the Solar System and the Universe to
children and adults for many years to come.
