Growing up on a farm, Lee Green was introduced to sky watching at a young age. With the early NASA space programs, his interest only increased. Since purchasing his 14" telescope used for viewing and astrophotography, Lee joined the Twin City Amateur Astronomers, the local observing club, and soon was elected their president, embracing their mission of education and public outreach. Lee counts successes by the number of 'oohs' and 'aahs' he gets from young observers when they look through the telescope.
