 Linda
K, as she is known, has lived in North Carolina for
the more than nine years. Married to a retired Air Force
Technical Sergeant, she spent the last five years working
for Harnett County Schools. She is currently a senior
at Fayetteville State University, pursuing a degree
in education. She is also in the process of establishing
an astronomy club at the University.
Linda's
fascination with space began as a child. Her grandfather
worked with the space program at Cape Canaveral, and
her maternal grandparents lived so close to the Cape
that she was able to see launches from their front yard.
Linda
is an enthusiastic individual who believes that there
is no such thing as an over-achiever. No matter how
well-educated or advanced we become, there will always
be more to learn. That's what makes life so exciting
- there is so much potential. The possibilities are
truly limitless.
Linda's
interests include working with children and young adults,
astronomy, history, astrophotography, and computers.
She has created a website
encompassing these interests and more.
