 Linda Smith was born in the 60's in the heat of the space race. Her childhood fueled a love of discovery. Linda continued her love for science and space and in 1986 graduated with a degree in science education. She is married to Roger and has three children Ben, Daniel, and Ellie. Linda loves children and learning. But most of all she loves helping children learn to love learning and become lifelong learners. Linda is very fortunate as a teacher to be able to do that every day. As the Planetarium Director for the Muncie Community Schools, Linda is very excited about all the opportunities she can bring to the students, teachers and partners in Muncie. She looks forward to continuing the growth of the planetarium and its programs as she teaches this generation to reach for the stars and beyond in their future.
