Louis Varricchio is a former science writer for NASA and a science-program producer and personality for Public Radio International and public television. He is a syndicated astronomy columnist in weekly newspapers in New York and Vermont. He is currently managing editor of the Addison Eagle and Rutland Tribune newspapers in Vermont. Varricchio's public broadcast science programs have received critical praise. He is listed in "Who's Who in Media Communications" since 1999. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in media communications and space studies. He is the author of the space history book "Inconstant Moon: Discovery and Controversy on the Way to the Moon" (Xlibris/Random House Partner, 2007).
