Lynn van Rooijen-McCullough has had a life-long interest in astronomy and been an active amateur astronomer for nearly 15 years. After an early retirement as CEO of a financial services company, she completed a Master of Science (Astronomy) degree with Swinburne University of Technology's SAO program in 2010. Her special areas of interest are exoplanet research and astrophotography/photometry.
Lynn is president of the Royal Netherlands Association for Meteorology and Astronomy (KNVWS), 't Gooi Chapter, a member of the Almere Observatory and the Dutch Astrophotography Working Group and moderator of a number of Astronomy-related newsgroups. She is happy to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for astronomy and space exploration with US citizens abroad in the Benelux and northern Germany in particular, and also with students and residents of the Benelux in general.
