Mary Beth Stoddard Crile lives in the Washington DC metro area. Currently, she is employed as a custom software deployment manager. Mary Beth received her Master of Science degree in Geology from Florida Atlantic University in 2005. Now she attends George Mason University as a PhD student with a dissertation research focus involving the formation of Martian chaotic terrain. Her love for space began as a child when she attended her first shuttle launch of the maiden voyage for the Shuttle Columbia. Mary Beth's interests include astronomy, geology, and photography. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm of space and stars with students of all ages and has been performing scientific outreach events within her community for fifteen years.
