Biographical Information:


Photo of Ambassador Matthew Turnbaugh Matthew Turnbaugh is an avid amateur astronomer who has engaged in studies of our sun, Jupiter, Orion, the moon. He is a former volunteer for Neil Armstrong Library and Archives in virtual world of Second Life and has helped develop and promote an exhibit honoring the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11.

Matthew spoke with multiple audiences of various demographics to highlight the need to embrace man's curiosity to explore our home in space. He has multiple years of teaching experience in areas such as electromechanical systems, laser theory, infrared energy theory, and astronomy.
