	Biographical Information:
	Megan Beattie was raised near Houston and spent as much time at Space Center Houston as possible. She attended Advanced Space Academy six times within two and a half years and decided to pursue a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Megan is in her last year and a half of school and has participated in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for four years, including two as president. She is a co-op student with Teledyne Brown Engineering and has worked with both Shuttle and Ares I-X. Megan volunteers with the Von Braun Astronomical Society where she assists with public and school educational planetarium shows. She loves watching kids' excitement about space and astronomy.
