 Melba
holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership
(Ed. D.) from NOVA Southeastern University at Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida and a Specialist Degree in Supervision and Administration
(Ed. S.) from Northeast Louisiana University at Monroe,
Louisiana and Masters Degree in Special Education and
Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Northeast Louisiana
University (M.Ed.) at Monroe, Louisiana. Among the many
specialized training courses Melba has taken are: Mining
School for Teachers, Aerospace Team Leader Training,
various Chautauqua Courses, Mayan Archaeoastronomy and
Outdoor Astronomy. She is presently teaching Navajo
High School students various science subjects at Chinle
High School in Chinle, AZ. She is also an IEP writer
for Chinle High School.
