It started when Michael Foerster was a kid, stargazing and cheering the exploration of space.
Michael has harvested photons at the VLA, Kitt Peak, the Naval and Lowell Observatories, and he loves teaching. Michael is the founder of The Starry-Nite Society, and member of the NASA Night Sky Network, Project ASTRO, AAVSO, SETI, AIAA...and more.
Currently, he is researching exoplanet transits...with thanks to the Lanphier Observatory and TJ Farley Foundation for their support. Michael hosts "First*Light!" -- public radio's program on the intersection of Science and Society, originating from the studios of WNMC. You can find out more about the show, the weekly podcast, and Michael's astronomy outreach work at the following website: http://web.mac.com/SkyGuide
Please contact Michael if he can be of service.
