Photo of AmbassadorMichael A. Harrigan is a Space and Missile Officer assigned to the Joint Space Operations Center at Vandenberg AFB, CA.

Michael is a space history enthusiast who loves to teach anyone who has interest in the exploration of the space realm. His particular interests include the European Space Agency and Space Law. As a career instructor he has taught many students from Kindergarten to formal military schools, about basic space concepts, ideas, and history. Michael's goal is once again to educate the general population about the importance of space activities to everyday life here on Earth and how space exploration serves the desire for humans to explore the unknown.

Michaeland his wife, Mae, have two sons, Zachary and Zane, and two daughters, Zoe and Zia.
