Mike
Inglis has been an amateur astronomer all his life,
and such was his enthusiasm for the subject that he
decided he also wanted to do it for a living. Thus,
he became an astronomer by profession. One thing that
has never left him however is the feelings of awe and
majesty that he has when he goes outside and observes
the sky for himself. Such is the strength of his passion
for all things astronomical that Mike found himself
wanting to share all that he knew with anyone who would
listen and so he began talking in schools and clubs
about stars, planets, spaceships and anything else astronomical.
After many years learning and teaching astronomy he
still has not lost any of his enthusiasm for the subject
and still spends a disproportionate amount of time either
looking at the sky or talking about it.
