PhD in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1964. 33 years in Research and Development with McDonnell Douglas /Boeing in Huntington Beach, Ca . In later years, Senior Manager of advanced (space) technologies. Chairman, UCI Science Advisory Board for the past 8 years... a consortium of industry, K-12 teachers, and UCI to improve science and math education in Orange County. Current member of the Huntington Beach Education Foundation, a fund raising organization for K-8 in the HBCSD. Volunteer, special projects with the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, Ca. In addition to creating a 3-D multimedia presentation on the Search for Life in the Universe, was a major contributor to the new Discovery Science Center web site.
