 Oteasha Leonard, an honorably discharged veteran of the Navy, isn't afraid to serve her country and shares with many fellow Americans a great fascination with space.
She wanted to become more involved and heard from a friend in the astronomy community of this great opportunity to share knowledge with others. Oteasha knew immediately that this was not an opportunity to miss.
Why the interest? While living in California, she and her children frequented the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego. They love all that the Fleet has to offer. With her children getting older, she thought she should become more actively involved in their career decisions and decided to take action. She knew that by becoming an Ambassador she would not only serve her country, she would also become more involved in her childrens' career choices.
Oteasha, a former Military Information Security Officer, and Aerospace Med Tech will contribute wonderfully!
