This organization is separate from the school district and it supports my efforts to bring science education to some 30,000 students throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. My most important role is a wife, and mother to my two children Liz, 7, and Chris, 11. Life is good!
Received a 21st Century Learning Center Grant to establish 6 learning centers of excellence 4 elementary sites, 1 middle school and 1 high school site. I will be the supervisor of all reading, science and math programs in the centers.
Goal is to incorporate JPL activities in all of our afterschool sites. Hopefully we will become involved in a NASA long distance learning program. Also our facility is building a new Lego Engineering Academy in our new science center location across from the planetarium.
