I
have been training teachers to teach hands-on astronomy
since attending the American Astronomical Society Teacher
Resource Agent training in 1995. Last summer I received
further experience in the AASTRA+ Summer Leadership
Institute. We were able to capture deep space objects
with a 30" telescope at the McDonald Observatory near
Fort Davis, Texas. I wish to share my passion for learning
about the solar system with my community.
