love for space since childhood, I spend the majority
of my time involved in space activities. Most enjoyable
of these activities is traveling to local schools to
teach children about astronomy and space exploration.
I am a member of an astronomy club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
and also in Greenbelt, Maryland, The Planetary Society
and The Astronomical Society. In 1998 I received certification
from NASA in Lunar/Meteorite Sample Education, in April
2001, I attended The Mars 2001 Odyssey Educators Conference
and Launch. My most memorable moment? Having the opportunity
to visit the Apollo 1 launch pad.
