Since
that historic July night in 1969, watching mankind arrive
on the Moon on a black-and-white television on the back
porch, Peter has been keenly interested in space exploration.
This interest would evolve into an active pursuit of
observational astronomy many years later. Peter is an
active amateur astronomer in one of the country's best
locations for such activities: the desert southwest.
He is currently the President of the East Valley Astronomy
Club (EVAC) - one of the largest astronomy clubs in
Arizona. Peter is also a member of the Saguaro Astronomy
Club, the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers,
and the Arizona Earth/Space Research Club. When not
out under the stars, he can be found participating in
some astronomical outreach program.
Peter resides in metropolitan Phoenix with his wonderful
wife and two English Springer Spaniels.
